Alyssa Ballerini

Alyssa Ballerini leads Sterling’s efforts to cultivate new client relationships and develop targeted strategies to support our continued growth. Her work on engagement and marketing initiatives reinforces Sterling’s reputation as a leader in philanthropic advising.

She brings more than a decade of experience across wealth management, consulting, and federal financial leadership. Prior to joining the team at Sterling, Alyssa served as a Portfolio Manager at a registered investment advisory firm, advised government clients on strategy and transformation initiatives as a Deloitte consultant, and managed national security budgets for several agencies.

Earlier in her career, she supported two presidential administrations at the White House, where she developed a deep commitment to service, integrity, and stewardship.

Alyssa enhances the client experience through her strategic insight and ability to convey complex concepts with clarity. She holds a master’s in business administration from UVA’s Darden School of Business and is driven by helping donors align their values with meaningful, lasting impact. Outside of work, Alyssa volunteers with Junior Achievement’s financial literacy programs, Women Giving Back, and Cornerstones, supporting local families and youth.
